Kathryn Syed, M.D. is a board-certified Family Medicine physician dedicated to delivering compassionate, personalized care for patients of all ages. With over a decade of experience serving the Tampa Bay community, Dr. Syed is known for building meaningful, long-term relationships with her patients while helping them achieve their health and wellness goals.
Originally from Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, Dr. Syed earned her medical degree from Iberoamerican University in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and completed her Family Medicine residency at Piedmont Columbus Regional in Columbus, Georgia. She has been proudly caring for the Tampa Bay community since 2014.
Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Syed provides inclusive, culturally competent care to a diverse patient population. Her clinical interests include women’s health, men’s health, geriatric care, and preventive medicine, with a strong emphasis on proactive, whole-person care.
In addition to comprehensive primary care, Dr. Syed offers in-office musculoskeletal injections for conditions affecting the shoulder, knee, elbow, and trigger finger—providing convenient, effective pain relief and improved mobility without the need for outside referrals.

Outside of the office, Dr. Syed enjoys spending quality time with her two sons and is an avid salsa dancer.
